Storm Update

The latest storm track is a little further SE, meaning lower totals NW of Boston. But, south of Boston some areas will get a foot of snow. And at least 6 inches in Boston is still expected. The snow will end by early in the morning in Boston as the steadiest snow will fall on the South Shore and Cape.  Also, expect dangerous wind chills on Wednesday morning as the wind picks up.

  A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect for the Boston area through Wed. Morning

   A Blizzard Warning is in effect for the South Shore out through the Cape and Islands

  A Wind Chill Advisory is in effect NW of Boston


Updated Storm Timeline:For Wed.

Now Thru 7 AM: Periods of heavy to moderate snow from Boston and points south. NE wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH. Blowing and drifting snow.

9 AM: Any snow ends in Boston. Blowing and drifting snow. Wind chill values as 15 BELOW in the morning.

Noon: Snow ends on the Cape

Peak Wind Gusts;

50 MPH- Cape and islands

40 MPH- The rest of coast-including Boston

30 MPH-Further Inland

Snow Totals:

10-15 Inches: South of Boston

6-10 Inches: In Boston- about 7 inches in JP!

3-6 inches: North and West of Boston

Wednesday afternoon: Mostly cloudy with blowing and drifting snow. High 18. NW wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH.

Wednesday night: Clearing with lows BELOW 0!  North wind of 15-20 MPH.

Thursday: Partly  sunny and still cold. Highs around 17

Friday: Sunny with highs around 15.

Saturday: Snow possible. Highs in the 30's.

Sunday: I return to Plymouth! Sunny with highs in the 20's,
