The snow started just after noon and it is still snowing as of 2 PM. This round will come to an end at around 3 PM. Then we will have a break, and then a squall line will come through between 5 and 7 PM. Expect wind gusts over 40 MPH, and near whiteout conditions with these squalls. The first batch will drop up to an inch- mainly on the grass. But, with the second round the temp will drop allowing for 1-2 inches in a brief period of time where the squalls hit. After the squalls end, the temp will dramatically drop and the wind will pick up. Wind chills will drop below 0 by morning, as air temps will be around 15.
Alerts:
A wind advisory is in effect from 7 tonight thru Friday for wind gusts to 50 MPH.
