The storm that gave us the snow this past weekend is stalled in eastern Canada, and will give us a NW flow throughout the next couple of days. That wind direction will keep cold, mainly dry conditions through Thursday. Another nor'easter is possible Friday, but at this point the track takes it well out to sea.
Local forecast:
Tonight: Partly cloudy and very cold. Lows around 18 Downtown, 15 in JP and 12 in many other areas. NW wind of 10-15 MPH.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny in the morning, then increasing clouds with a chance of a flurry in the afternoon. Cold, high 30. NW wind of 10-20 MPH. Wind chill values as low as 0 in the morning.
Tuesday night: Clear, lows in the teens to near 20.
Wednesday: Bright and cold, but less windy. High 30.
Thursday: Sunny, then increasing clouds. Highs in the low 30's.
Friday: Another coastal storm is possible. Right now it appears just some light snow will fall. Highs in the 20's. Stay tuned for details.
