Snow Update

Snow will start slow and light and turn moderate overnight. Some bands will set up, and will deliver the heavy snow there. However, the Boston area seems to be left in the middle of it, with bands setting up to the North and SW. Light totals will be found here, with more to the north and around NYC. 

Boston, MA forecast

Tonight: Increasing clouds with lows around 20.

Timeline: Friday 

7AM: Scattered snow showers. 

Noon: Scattered light snow. 

4 PM:  Light to moderate snow thru the commute. Highs around 34. Road crews should be able to keep pace with the snow. 

Overnight: Snow showers and light snow. Lows around 25. 

Saturday morning: Light snow continues off and on. 

Saturday afternoon: Snow ends. Highs around freezing. 

Amounts: 

4-8+: A small area north of Boston-around the Lowell and Lawrence area. 

2-4: Most of the Boston area. About 3 inches in JP.
