Snow Totals

Well, the storm tracked 25 miles further west than expected-pushing the jackpot to the west and NW of Boston. However, we still managed over a foot a heavy, pasty snow. Amounts drastically dropped off SE of Boston, as a change to rain occurred there. The snow won't be melting anytime soon as temps will remain below freezing for days.

Winchester, MA: 23.0 
Milford, MA: 22.0 
Sudbury: 20 
Framingham: 19
Walpole: 19
Roslindale: 19 
Norwood: 18
Blue Hill: 17 
JP: 15.5 (My measurement) 
Brockton: 15
Boston ( Logan): 14.7 
Mansfield: 10
Sandwich: 5.2

Boston, MA forecast: 

Tonight: Snow showers this evening, then partial clearing. Lows near 20 with blowing snow. Any new snow amounts will be less than an inch or so. NW wind of 15-25 MPH. 

Thursday: Clearing and breezy. High 29. NW wind of 15-25 MPH. 

Thursday night: Clear and frigid with a snowpack. Lows in the single digits. 

Friday: Sunny and very cold. Highs in the mid 20's. 

Saturday: Increasing clouds with a chance of light snow late. This is not a big storm. Highs in the upper 20's. 

Sunday: Clouds breaking with highs in the mid 30's. Temps around freezing for the pats playoff game against the Jets at 430.
