Slightly more

The temp has dropped under 40 in JP and west of the city as of 2 PM. Snow is falling in Worcester and snow is mixing with rain inside of 495.  The rain/snow line will collapse towards the city over the next several hours. It will change to all snow by 8 PM in Boston. Then it will snow until around 5 AM Sunday, before tapering to flurries. It will stay all rain on the Cape. 

Total accumulations: 

up to 1 inch: Plymouth to Taunton points south. None on the Cape. 

2-3 inches:  South of Providence northeastward to Brockton to Hull. Areas like Mansfield, Easton, Weymouth.    

3-4: Providence northeastward up 95 including the immediate Boston area. Also north of town east of 95. Around 3 inches in JP.  Areas like Dedham, Newton, Medford, Essex County. 

4-6+: West of 128 - between 95 and the pike. Areas like Foxboro, Framingham, Concord,  Andover.  6 or more possible in the Worcester hills.  


Sunday: Clearing and cold, high 38.

Extended: Some snow showers are possible on Monday night A bigger storm is possible on Wednesday, but the precip type is not known at this time. Either way the work week will be very cold.
