Trick or treat!

A wind advisory has been issued for Eastern Mass from Plymouth County points northwards. Gusts will approach 50 MPH this afternoon. The strong SW winds have brought in warm air, as temps are already over 70! It still appears that showers will move in to Boston at around 9 PM and in Worcester by 8, although a few scattered showers are possible before then.

Local Alerts: A Wind Advisory in effect until 6 PM this evening. Boston just reported a gust of 47 MPH.

Today: Mostly cloudy with sunny breaks. An isolated shower is possible. Very windy with highs near 74 around Boston, but 60 0n the Cape. SW winds of 20-30 MPH with a gusts to 50 MPH. Sunset: 5:38

Tonight: Cloudy and windy. Showers arriving from west to east by 9 PM and then continuing. Lows near 50. SW winds of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH. Then decreasing to west at 10-20 MPH. The hour by hour forecast is below. Reminder: Don't forget to set your clocks back one hour.

Sunday: Cloudy with a risk of a shower until 10 AM, then graudually turning sunny. Cooler, high 54. NW wind of 10-15 MPH. Sunset: 4:37

8 PM: Showers becoming more widespread around Worcester. Still windy with temps near 60.
9 PM: Showers reaching the Boston area. Still windy with temps in the upper 50's.
