A second nor'easter is bearing down on the region. This storm is expected to come closer than the last storm, as more heavy rain and stronger winds are expected to overtake the region. The storm is a little slower in gathering than initially thought, so the rain will come in around dawn tomorrow. Sunday will be a washout, with over an inch of rain possible especially SE of Boston. If the precip comes in fast enough, with cold air in place some wet snow may mix in west of 128. A slushy coating is possible in the Worcester Hills, and 2-4 inches of snow may fall in the Berkshires. The wind will be stronger than the last storm, with gusts to 60 MPH on the outer cape on Nantucket. Gusts to 45 MPH likely in Boston and the north shore. It will begin to wind down by evening, as the storm pulls away.

Boston forecast:
Tonight: Clouding up with rain or wet snow arriving by dawn. Although, a few light showers are possible this evening. Lows ranging from 34 near Worcester to 45 on the cape. A coating is possible on grassy areas outside of 495. Becoming windy, with NE of around 20 MPH with gusts to 50 on Nantucket, 45 on the cape and the south shore, and 35 In Boston, and 30 MPH inland by dawn.
Sunday: Rain, tapering to showers by 6 PM. The rain will be heavy at times in the morning. High 45. Very windy. NE winds around 25 MPH with gusts to 60 MPH on the cape, 45 MPH elsewhere along the coast, and 35 MPH inland.
Sunday night: Showers in the evening, then remaining drizzly. Nearly steady temps with lows in the upper 30's to low 40's. Wind diminishing to around 20 MPH with gusts to 40 on the cape, 35 in Boston and 25 Inland.
Monday: Showers possible in the morning along the coast, then some sun in the afternoon. Nicer, high 54. North wind around 15 MPH.
World weather: Another dangerous typhoon may threaten the Philippines later in the week, with more flooding. Hurricane Rick with winds of 145 MPH may threaten Baja California by Thursday.
