Happy October

It has felt like fall for the past couple of days, and that will continue tomorrow. As the West flow continues, a storm will approach from the west which will produce heavy rain on Saturday. It will begin to dry out on Sunday afternoon, in time for the Pats game at 1pm.

Avg rain: 3.8 inches.


Boston, MA forecast:

Tonight: Clearing skies will allow temps to dip into 30's in most areas. However, it will be about 43 in downtown Boston, and 40 in JP. No frost is expected.

Friday: Sunny until about 1pm, then increasing clouds. Cool, High 60. Winds turning to the SW 10-15 MPH.

Friday night: Becoming cloudy with a showers coming into the area after 1 AM. Low 54.

Saturday: Showers becoming more numerous and then turning into a steady rain by early afternoon. High 68. SE winds of 10-15 MPH with gusts to 25 MPH. Over an inch of rain possible.

Saturday night: Raining most of the time. Some of the rain will be heavy. Low 57. SE winds of 5-15 MPH.

Sunday: Showers ending by 11 AM. Some sun may poke through the clouds in the afternoon. Warmer, high 72. Winds out of the South at 10-15 MPH.

World weather: Typhoon Parma is heading towards the Philippines with winds of 140 MPH. More major flooding is expected- some places in the Philippines just experienced major flooding with around 20 inches of rain.
