A strong system will come thru the area on Friday with showers and some thunderstorms. Any thunderstorm has a chance to have some damaging winds with them as the front comes thru. Behind the system a dry and windy weekend will occur. Temps will hold in the 60's for the weekend.

Friday: Low clouds and fog with Scattered showers in the morning, showers with scattered thunderstorms in the afternoon. High 70 with a SE wind of 10-20 MPH. Some thunderstorms may produce wind gusts over 50 MPH!
Friday night: Scattered showers and thunderstorms until 9 PM, then partial clearing. Lows in the mid 50's.
Saturday: Partly to mostly sunny and windy. Highs in the mid 60's. West wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH.
Sunday: Partly sunny and still windy. Highs in the mid 60's.
Tropics: Watching a cluster of storms NE of the Bahamas that may develop over the next 24 hours.
