Flooding

Downpours came thru the area early this morning leading to some serious flooding on the North Shore. Streets turned to rivers and many basements flooded as 2 months of rain fell in a few hours time. Now, the storm that took 3 WEEKS to get from Chicago to Boston will finally move out to sea. Cooler, but drier air will come in for the next few days before a warming trend comes in for the holiday weekend.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers this evening, then mostly cloudy after midnight. Low 53.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy with an isolated in the morning, then mostly sunny in the afternoon. Windy with a high of 63. NW wind of 15-20 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH.

Wednesday night: Clearing and breezy. Lows around 40. NW wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH.

Thursday: Bright sunshine, but cool. Highs in the mid 50's. Frost is likely at night in some spots with lows in the 30's.

Friday: Sunny with highs in the mid 60's.

Saturday: Sunny with highs in the 70's.

Sunday: Sunny with highs well into the 70's.

Columbus Day: Sunny with highs around 70.
