Rain And Wind

 Yet another powerful storm will hit the area from Tuesday evening thru Tuesday night. It will bring  snow, rain and damaging winds. It may start out as a brief burst of snow, but will quickly change to pouring rain. The height of the storm appears to be from midnight to 6 AM on Wednesday morning. Yet another major storm is likely by the weekend.

A High Wind Warning is in effect SE of  Boston 

A High Wind Watch is in effect for Boston'

A Wind Advisory is in effect NW of Boston 

A Flood Watch is in effect for all of the Boston area 

 A  Coastal Flood Watch is in effect for parts of the coast 

Boston forecast:

Tonight; Clear and cold. Low 23. 

Tuesday; Increasing clouds until 4 PM, then a mix of rain and snow. High 37. SE wind of 20-30 MPH. Snow may coat the ground. 

Tuesday night; Heavy rain with scattered thunderstorms. Temps rising into the mid 50's. SE wind of 30-40 MPH with gusts to 65 MPH. Total rainfall of 2-4 inches.

Wednesday; Partial clearing with highs in the mid 50's. SE wind of 30- 40 MPH with gusts to 55 MPH.

Thursday ;Sunny with highs in the mid 40's. 

Friday; Sunny with highs in the mid 40's. 

Saturday: Another storm likely. Highs in the mid 50's. Stay tuned! 

Sunday; Clearing with highs in the 30's.
