More Storms Ahead

The storm dropped over a foot of snow in parts of the area today, but only a few inches in Boston. Now, we turn our attention to the next major storm on the way. The storm will arrive on Tuesday afternoon and last thru the night. It  will bring flooding rains and damaging winds to the area.

Boston forecast; 

Tonight: Clearing and cold. Low 18. NW wind of 15-25 MPH. 

Monday: Mostly sunny with a high of 37. NW wind of 10-20 MPH. Watch for icy sports early. 

Monday night: Clear with lows in the low 20's/. NW wind of 10-20 MPH.

Tuesday; Increasing clouds in the morning, then heavy rain in the afternoon. Highs around 40.. SE wind of 15-25 MPH. 

Tuesday night: Heavy rain and damaging winds. Temps rise to the mid 50's; SE  wind of  30-40 MPH with gusts to 70  MPH!  Total rainfall of 2-4 inches. Watch for major flooding! 

Wednesday; Rain and wind end. Temps hold in the 50's. 

Thursday; Sunny with highs in the 40's. 

Friday; Another powerful storm likely late. Highs in the 40's.
