Storm Forecast

Easter Sunday will be the calm before the storm as high pressure starts to give way. Then a powerful storm will pass to our west bringing damaging south winds and rain, And even a strong thunderstorm is possible. The height of the storm appears to be in the afternoon.

A High Wind Watch is in effect for all of MA for Monday

Boston forecast;

Tonight: Clear and chilly. Low 34.

Easter Sunday; Happy Easter to all who celebrate. Mostly sunny in the morning, then mostly cloudy in the afternoon. High 60 .SW wind of 15-25 MPH.

Sunday night: Cloudy early, then rain arriving near dawn. Lows in the upper 40's.

Monday; Rain with scattered thunderstorms. Very windy with highs in the low 60's. South wind of 30-40 MPH with gusts to 70 MPH.

Monday night: Rain with scattered thunderstorms early, then mostly cloudy. Still windy with lows in the low 40's. South wind of 25-35 MPH with gusts to 60 MPH early, decreasing to 20-30 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH late .

Tuesday; Sunny with highs in the 50's.

Wednesday; Showers possible. Highs in the 40's.
