Storm Forecast

Snow will continue to fall tonight and through the day on Monday. The snow will become heavy at times leading to an additional several inches of snow. It appears that the heaviest snow will be in the morning, but it will remain steady through the afternoon. It will clear out by the morning on Tuesday, but it will remain cold. Wednesday will be dry before we watch yet another storm by Thursday.

A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for the Boston area until 1 AM Tuesday

Rest of Storm Timeline:

Tonight: Snow. Low 15. North wind of 10-20 MPH. Additional snow amounts of 4-6 inches expected.

Monday: Heavy snow. High 25. NE wind of 10-20 MPH. Additional snow amounts of 4-6 inches.

Monday night: Snow in the evening, then scattered snow showers late. Lows in the teens. Additional snow amounts of 2-4 inches.

Snow Totals

15-20 Inches+:  In the Boston area. Some places may get 2 FEET!

10-15 Inches: Parts of the south shore.

5-10 Inches: Cape and Islands .


Rest of week forecast:

Tuesday: Mostly sunny with highs around 30.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny with highs in the mid 20's.

Thursday: More snow likely. Highs in the 20's. Stay tuned!

Friday; Clearing with highs in the teens.
