Severe Storms

A Tornado Warning was issued earlier this evening, but it is unclear at this point if there was a touchdown. The warning was in effect in some towns just to the north of the City.  Now, more severe storms are possible on Tuesday afternoon and evening as the heat and humidity builds. On Wednesday there will be another chance of storms along with temps near 90. Behind the front it will be more comfy on Thursday and Friday.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Scattered showers and storms. Low 70.

Tuesday: Hazy until 3 PM, then scattered showers and severe thunderstorms. Humid with a high of 90. SW wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH. Some storms will produce frequent lightning, damaging winds and hail.

Tuesday night: Scattered showers and severe thunderstorms early, then partial clearing. Lows around 70. Some storms will produce frequent lightning, damaging winds and hail.

Wednesday: Hazy in the morning, then scattered showers and severe thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs around 90. Some storms will have strong winds and hail again.

Thursday: Sunny and nicer. Less humid with highs in the mid 80's.

Friday: Sunny with highs in the low 80's.
