The winter saw above average snow and was marked by the Blizzard in February .Then, late spring and early summer was very wet and cool. Only for fall to be one of the driest lately here in New England.

Boston forecast:
Tonight: Periods of rain with freezing rain inland. Temps rising to 43 in Boston, but 35 inland. South wind of 15-25 MPH.
Monday: Periods of rain. Temps near 53 at noon will fall to 40 by 4 PM. South wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH in the morning, then changing to NW in the afternoon.
Monday night: Partly cloudy with scattered snow showers. Windy with lows around 15. NW winds of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH.
Tuesday:: Sunny and frigid. Highs around 15. NW wind gusting to 40 MPH. Wind chill values as low as 10 BELOW.
Wednesday: Sunny with highs in the low 20's.
Thursday: Dry with highs around 30.
Friday: Snow possible. Highs around freezing.
US Weather: Wind chills as low as 60 BELOW are likely in the northern Plains. And, temps well below freezing will occur all the way to the Gulf coast.
