Some Rain

A storm will pass to our west leading to periods of  rain Sunday afternoon thru Monday morning. Then, arctic air will come into the area after the storm and temps will crash leading to a flash freeze. After that temps will hold in the teens to near 20.

A Freezing Rain Advisory is in effect NW of Worcester for Sunday night.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Mostly clear with lows near 23 in Boston and 12 in the suburbs.

Sunday: Cloudy in the morning, then scattered rain showers in the afternoon. High 40. SW wind of 10-20 MPH.

Sunday night: Periods of rain. Temps hold in the upper 30's. SE wind of 10-20 MPH.

Monday: Periods of rain the morning, then some clearing. Temps dramatically drop from 50 at midday to 30 by dusk. West wind of 15-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH. A flash freeze likely!

Monday night: Clear and frigid. Lows around 10.

Tuesday: Sunny and very cold. Highs in the upper teens.

Wednesday: Sunny with highs around 20.
