Wild Ride

A snow squall came through PSU this afternoon at around 3, as it went from full sunshine to a whiteout in a matter of minutes. And, it went back to sun soon after the squall cleared. That squall was the cold front coming thru, as arctic air comes back briefly into New England. It now appears that the warm front will stall briefly SW of the area on Friday, leading to highs in the 30's. As the front comes thru Friday night, there could be a brief rain or snow shower. Then, temps will rise into the 50's before our next storm late Sunday.

  2. I don't see significant snow any time soon. After the storm on Monday, it seems temps will be near or above average. Average highs are in the low 40's for early March. There is a chance for another rain event late next week.
