Snow South

A storm will pass south of the area Wednesday night and the heaviest snow will stay south of the area. However, some snow is expected to start in the evening and last off and on thru Thursday. The snow may have a hard sticking to the pavement at first, but should stick during the nighttime hours. Cold weather will last thru the weekend.

Boston, MA forecast:

Tonight: Partial clearing with a low of 30.

Wednesday: Cloudy until 6 PM, then snow. High 37, but falling to 34 by 6 PM. NE wind of 10-20 MPH.

Wednesday night: Periods of snow. Lows in the upper 20's. Snow amounts of 1-3 inches expected.

Thursday: Snow until 9 AM, then snow showers. Highs in the mid 30's. Additional snow amounts around an inch possible-but mainly on the grass.

Thursday night: Snow showers become more scattered. Lows in the mid 20's.

Friday: Scattered flurries early, then partial clearing. Cold with highs in the mid 30's.

Saturday: Sunny with highs in the upper 30's.

Sunday: Partly sunny with highs in the upper 30's.
