Clouds will increase on Wednesday ahead of our next storm system. A snow shower is possible early Thursday, but the steady rain should hold off until Thursday afternoon. It will become heavy Thursday night into Friday. An inch of rain is possible-with more in parts of Northern and Western New England. The rivers will need to be watched very carefully, as some more flooding is possible.
Boston, MA forecast:

Wednesday night: Cloudy with lows around 30.
Thursday: Scattered rain and snow showers in the morning, then scattered rain showers in the afternoon. Highs around 40.
Thursday night: Periods of rain, which will become heavy overnight. Steady temps around 40. SE winds of 15-25 MPH.
Friday: Heavy rain-especially during the morning. Highs in the low 50's. SE winds of 15-25 MPH. An inch or so of rain is likely.
