TD Ida

Tropical depression Ida near Nicaragua has moved back over warmer waters and is expected to re-strengthen into a Tropical Storm and move north and into the Gulf of Mexico by Monday. Then it is expected take a turn to the east towards Florida by Wednesday. Our weather will warm up this weekend, and continue on Monday and Tuesday before the pattern turns cold and stormy again.

Local alerts: Frost advisory in effect for the Cape and Nantucket.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Clear and cold. Lows near 34 downtown, and 30 in JP and the low to mid 20's in most other areas. A hard freeze is expected for the suburbs.

Saturday: Partly to mostly sunny, high near 50. Light SW wind.

Saturday night: Partly to mostly cloudy, lows near 40.

Sunday: A beautiful day with sunny skies and temps in the low to mid 60's for most areas. A steady NW wind.

Sunday night: Clear, lows in the 30's.


World weather: A mega storm is in the Gulf of Alaska, as the storm is covering THOUSANDS of miles. It is expected to invade SW Canada with feet of Snow.
