Storm Timeline

 A storm will bring snow, sleet and rain to the area Saturday into Saturday night. Snow will arrive by midday, but it now appears that snow will change to sleet by late afternoon. And after a period a sleet a change to all rain is expected in Boston. A small amount of snow is possible in Boston.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect NW of rte. 128

Boston forecast; 

Tonight: Increasing clouds with a low of 32. NW wind of 10-20 MPH. 

Storm Timeline: 

11 AM: First Flakes. Temps around 35. 

12 PM-4 PM: Snow. Temps holding around 35. NE wind of 15-25 MPH through the day. 

4 PM-6 PM: A mix of snow and sleet seems likely. Temps around 37. 

6 PM- through the overnight: Periods of rain. Temps rising to 40.

 A Coating- 1 inch: In Boston 

1-3 Inches: NW of route 128 

3-6 inches; NW of route 495 

Rest Of Extended Forecast: 

Sunday; Increasing sunshine and windy. Highs in the upper 30's. 

Monday; Sunny and cold. Highs in the low 30's. 

Tuesday ;Sunny with highs in the 30's..
