Merry Christmas everyone and thanks for checking out my blog. A storm will bring freezing rain and rain to the area on Christmas Day. Freezing rain will last for several hours-even in Boston. A tenth of an inch of ice or more appears likely. North and West of Boston cold air could hold on much longer leading to ice most of the day. I suggest delaying travel as ice will coat roads and sidewalks.
Alert;
A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for all of the Boston area until 10 AM Christmas day.
Boston forecast;
