Calm Before Holiday Storm

 Tuesday and Wednesday will be nice days with some sun. Then a powerful storm will impact the area Christmas Eve into Christmas Day. Winds above the surface will be up to 100 MPH from the south! Now, not all of that will make it to the ground, but at this point winds are expected to be damaging. And several inches of rain is expected. 

Boston forecast; 

Tonight: Cloudy with areas of fog and freezing fog. Low 30. 

Tuesday; Mostly cloudy with areas of fog in the morning, then partly sunny in the afternoon. High 42. West wind of 10-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH. 

Tuesday night: Clearing with lows in the upper 20's. 

Wednesday; Sunny with highs around 40. 

Thursday: Increasing clouds and wind. Highs around 50. 

Christmas Eve; Heavy rain and damaging wind likely. Temps rising to 60. Stay tuned! 

Christmas Day; Merry Christmas everyone! Rain and damaging wind likely-especially in the morning Temps dramatically fall into the 30's by late in the day. Stay tuned!
