A major storm will hit the area over the next 36 hours. However, it is mostly a wind driven rain storm. It will start as snow this evening and the snow will accumulate a little. It will then change to freezing rain and then rain by morning. The rain will continue off and on through the day and into the night. And, damaging wind gusts are possible also.

11 PM-1 AM: Snow changes to freezing rain.
1PM-3 AM: A brief period of freezing rain is likely.
Rest of Tuesday: Periods of rain. Highs around 50. SE wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 50 MPH.
Tuesday night: Rain showers. Temps in the upper 40's. SE wind of 25-35 MPH with gusts to 60 MPH..

Wednesday: Mostly sunny with highs in the mid 40's.
