Mostly Rain

The snow has changed to a wintry mix tonight and will eventually change to all rain. The rain will continue off and on through the day on Tuesday. The rain will come to an end on Tuesday night. And, damaging winds are likely Tuesday evening as well.

Alerts: 

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 4 AM Tuesday for the Boston area.

A High Wind Watch is in effect for the Boston area.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: An wintry mix changes to rain. Temps rising to 40 by dawn. SE wind of 10-20 MPH.
Some minor ice amounts are possible in Boston. 

Tuesday: Scattered rain showers in the morning, then rain with scattered downpours in the afternoon. High 55. SE wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 50 MPH.

Tuesday night: Rain in the evening, then partial clearing late. Windy with lows in the mid 30's. SE wind of 25-35 MPH with gusts to 60 MPH.

Wednesday: Partly sunny with highs in the mid 40's.

Thursday: A snow shower possible. Highs in the mid 30's.

Friday: Mostly cloudy with highs in the 30's.
