Windy Weekend

Showers will exit this evening and the wind will increase behind the storm. The wind this weekend will take down a lot of leaves remaining on the trees-so the color may not be so widespread later. A weak weather system will come thru on Sunday night with a shower possible. A bigger storm is possible at some point next week.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Showers and thunderstorms end this evening, then partial clearing. Becoming windy with a low of 55. SW wind of 15-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH.

Saturday: A mix of sun and clouds and windy. High 67. SW wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH.

Saturday night: Clearing and windy. Lows around 50. SW wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH.

Sunday: Sunny in the morning, then partly cloudy in the afternoon. Still windy with highs in the mid 60's SW wind of 15-20 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH.

Sunday night: Mostly cloudy with a shower possible. Lows in the mid 50's.

US weather: The wind behind the storm will also effect the Great Lakes region with high winds and seas this weekend. Winds may gust over 60 MPH there!
