The Week Ahead

The storm stalled on the East coast will continue to provide the area with clouds and showers. Eventually, by mid week it should begin to clear out along with temps in the 60's-usual for this time of year. The sunny stretch should last into the long holiday weekend.

Boston, MA forecast:

Tonight: Low clouds and fog with mist and drizzle. Low 56.

Monday: Mostly cloudy with fog, scattered showers, mist and drizzle. High 65. NE wind of 10-15 MPH.

Monday night: Cloudy with scattered showers. Lows in the mid 50's.

Tuesday: Low clouds and fog with scattered showers in the morning, then showers in the afternoon. Highs in the low 60's.

Wednesday: Clearing and breezy. Highs in the low 60's.

Thursday: Sunny with highs in the 60's. Frost is possible in some areas at night.

Friday: Sunny with highs around 60.

Tropics: Hurricane Ophelia with winds of 100 MPH will hit SE Newfoundland tomorrow. Phillipe is expected to stay out to sea.

Extra: Stay tuned for my Columbus Day weekend New England foliage forecast on Thursday. Many trees are peaking in the northern mountains!
