Monday: Showers in the morning, then steady rain in the afternoon. Warmer with highs in the mid 50's. East wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 45 MPH in the afternoon. New rainfall amounts up to 1 inch.
Monday night: Heavy rain. Windy with lows in the mid 40's. NE wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 45 MPH. New rainfall amounts of 1-3 inches.
Tuesday: Heavy rain. Windy with near steady temps in the mid 40's. NE wind gusting over 40 MPH. New rainfall amounts of 2-4 inches likely.
Tuesday night: Heavy rain tapers to showers in the evening and continue through the night. Lows in the mid 40's. New rainfall amounts of .5-.75 likely.
Wednesday: Periods of light showers, mist and drizzle. This is when the flooding will be at its worst, so keep an eye on the rivers. Highs around 50. No significant new rainfall amounts.

Weather News: Boston had 45 straight days of above normal high temps before Saturday. The high on Saturday of 34 was 15 degrees below the average. The 45 days nearly doubles the old record of 23 set back in the 50's.
