Remains humid

We made it to the vineyard yesterday afternoon. Our family is here for at least the next week, as we enjoy the last weeks of summer. We found little evidence of Bill, except for some puddles here and there. It rained heavily saturday night, but the highest wind gust recored was only 31 MPH on nantucket. Bill then made landfall as a hurricane last night in Newfoundland, causing minor damage. However, waves are still high and there are still riptides. A high surf advisory remains in effect for here on the Vineyard and the rest of the Cape Cod area.
