Danny has weakend to a regular low pressure center. It still packs winds of around 30 MPH or so. However, it is still bringing lots of heavy rain, and strong winds on the Cape. We are on the Vineyard, and many roads are flooded and impassible. The winds are just starting to rev up on the Vineyard, as some gusts to around 40 MPH are possible. The rain should begin to wind down from SW to NE by around 6 PM.
Alerts: Flash flood watch in Eastern Mass, close to 5 inches of rain may fall in some places. Wind advisory for cape and Islands. High surf Advisory for south and east facing beaches.
