Storm Ahead

 Saturday will be the calm before the storm with mostly cloudy skies and temps in the 50's. Then a powerful storm will impact the area Sunday into Monday. Rain will arrive on Sunday afternoon and lats through Monday morning with a few inches of rain possible. And the wind will gust over 50 MPH near the water Sunday night into Monday morning leading to scattered power outages Stay tuned for further details tomorrow!

A High Wind Watch is in effect for the Cape And Islands 

Boston forecast: 

Tonight: Partly to mostly cloudy with a low of 35. 

Saturday: Partly to mostly cloudy and warmer. High 53. SE wind of 10-20 MPH. 

Saturday night: Becoming cloudy with lows around 40. SE wind of 15-25 MPH. 

Sunday; Cloudy in the morning, then showers in the afternoon . Turning windy with highs in them mid 60's. SE wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH. 

Sunday night; Heavy rain with scattered thunderstorms. Temps holding around 60. SE wind of 25-35 MPH with gusts to 55 MPH. 

Monday; Rain early, then partly sunny. Temps near 60  early will fall to near 40 late. SE wind of 25-35 MPH with gusts to 55 MPH, changing to West at 20-30 MPH with gusts to 45 MPH late. Total rainfall of 2-3 inches. 

Tuesday; Clearing with highs in the 40's.
