More Rain

Another storm will bring rain and wind to the area on Tuesday morning before it tapers off in the afternoon. Behind the storm the coldest air of the season comes into New England. That stets the stage for a powerful nor'easter late Thursday into Friday.

Boston forecast

Tonight: Rain. Low 43. SW wind of 15-25 MPH.

Tuesday; Rain in the morning, then scattered showers in the afternoon. High 50. SW wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH.

Tuesday night; Clearing and windy. Lows around 30. NW wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH.

Wednesday; Mostly sunny with highs in the mid 30's.

Thursday: Increasing clouds with a wintry mix likely late. Highs in the mid 30's. A mix continues overnight. Stay tuned!

Friday; Any mix changes to rain, Highs around 40.
