Cold air will come into the area over the next few days.. That will set the stage for a nor'easter Thursday night into Friday. It appears that it will start as snow in Boston and accumulate a littler before changing to rain.
Boston forecast:
Tonight: Clearing with a low of 30. West wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH.
Wednesday: Mostly sunny and cold. High 37. NW wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH.
Wednesday night: Clear and very cold. Lows around 20.
Thursday: Increasing clouds with highs in the mid 30's.
Thursday night; Snow in the evening, then rain late. Temps near freezing early will rise into the upper 30's. by dawn. Total snow accumulation of 1-2 inches in Boston. Stay tuned!
Friday; Rain. Highs in the mid 40's.
Saturday; Sunny with highs in the upper 40's.
Sunday; Snow showers possible. Highs in the upper 30's.
