Storm Update

More precip will continue to come into the area for Saturday. And as temps hold near freezing rain will freeze on contact in the morning before changing to all rain by the afternoon. Then after a break on Sunday more snow is likely on Christmas Day.

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until Noon Saturday for the Boston area

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Areas of drizzle and freezing drizzle. Near steady temps around 32. North wind of 10-15 MPH.

Saturday: Areas of freezing rain and rain in the morning, then rain in the afternoon. High 40. NW wind of 10-15 MPH.

Saturday night: Rain showers in the evening, then mostly cloudy late. Lows in the mid 30's.

Sunday: Partly sunny with highs in the upper 30's.

Christmas Eve; Snow likely. Lows around 30.

Christmas Day; More snow likely. Highs in the low 30's.  Stay tuned!

Tuesday; Sunny with highs in the 30's.
