Complex Storm

Colder air will continue to come into the area setting the stage for the next storm. The storm will arrive on Friday and last through Saturday. It will start as snow and will change to ice and then rain. Before the changeover an inch or 2 is possible.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Clear with a low of 22. NW wind of 10-20 MPH.

Thursday: Mostly sunny with a high of 30. NW wind of 10-20 MPH.

Thursday night: Increasing clouds with lows in the low 20's.

Friday: Snow likely. Highs in the low 30's.

Friday night: Snow changes to freezing rain and then rain. Temps rising into the mid 30's. Total snow amounts of 1-2 inches possible.

Saturday: Periods of rain. Highs in the low 40's.

Sunday; Increasing clouds with highs around 40.

Christmas Day: Watching a storm. Highs around freezing. Stay tuned!
