Hurricane Gert

Hurricane Gert has formed with winds of 75 MPH off the East coast. It is expected to turn NE and out to sea as a strengthening Hurricane over the next few days. It will bring waves and rip currents to the area on Wednesday. The front that is helping push Gert out to sea will lead to clouds on Tuesday. The sun will return on Wednesday and Thursday.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Mostly cloudy with a low of 67,

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy with a high of 78. SE wind of 15-25 MPH.

Tuesday night: Clearing with lows in the mid 60's.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny with highs in the mid 80's. Watch for big waves and rip currents.

Thursday; Mostly sunny with highs in the mid 80's.

Friday: Showers likely. Highs in the 70's.
