Warm Wednesday

Showers will continue into first thing Wednesday before clearing comes into the area. The sun will boost temps close to 60 by the afternoon. A cold front will then bring colder air into New England on Thursday. And that could lead to a period of snow on Friday.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Rain showers. Near steady temps around 47. South wind of 15-25 MPH.

Wednesday: Showers until 9 AM, then becoming mostly sunny. High 60. West wind of 10-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH.

Wednesday night: Clearing with lows in the upper 30's.

Thursday; Sunny and colder. Highs in the mid 40's.

Friday; Some snow appears likely. Highs in the mid 30's. Stay tuned!

Saturday; Mostly sunny and very cold again. Highs around 20.

Sunday: Watching another storm. Highs around 30.
