Snow will arrive in the wee hours of the morning and continue through the morning before ending as rain. However, several inches of snow now appears likely. After temps rise above freezing in the early afternoon winds will change to the north and a flash freeze is likely. Rain and warm temps are likely by Sunday.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for all of the Boston area for Saturday morning.
Boston forecast:
Tonight: Increasing clouds until 3 AM, then snow. Temps rise to 25 by dawn. SW wind of 10-20 MPH.
Saturday: Snow in the morning, then areas of rain, freezing rain and sleet in the afternoon. High 35. East wind of 10-20 MPH changing to NW late. Total snow amounts of 3-5 inches expected.
Saturday night: Areas of freezing drizzle and drizzle early, then scattered rain showers late. Temps rising into the upper 40's.
Sunday: Periods of rain. Highs in the mid 50's.
Monday: Clearing with highs in the low 30's.
Tuesday: Sunny with highs in the 30's.
