Dangerous Cold

A cold front will cross the region Thursday morning with a snow shower and cold winds. Temps in the mid 20's in the morning will fall during the day along with increasing winds. A secondary front will bring dangerous cold and damaging winds on Thursday night. And temps on Friday will hold in the teens. By Saturday a snow to rain scenario seems likely.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Clear with a low of 23. West wind of 10-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH.

Thursday: Partly sunny with a passing snow shower or squall. Increasingly windy with temps near 25 in the morning will fall to 18 by 4 PM. West wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 50 MPH.

Thursday night: Partly cloudy with a passing snow shower early, then clear late. Very windy with lows near 3 ABOVE. West wind of 25-35 MPH with gusts to 60 MPH. Wind chill values as low as 20 BELOW late.

Friday: Mostly sunny and cold. Highs around 15. West wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 50 MPH.  Wind chill values as low as 20 BELOW in the morning.

Saturday: Snow changing to rain. Highs in the upper 30's. Stay tuned!

Sunday: Rain likely. Highs in the 50's.
