More Rain

A strong cold front will bring showers and wind on Friday. More rain is likely on Saturday now as the front appears to stall. Then very cold air for early April will come into the area. That will lead to rain changing to snow late Saturday night and Sunday morning.

High Wind Warning

Strong to damaging winds will continue for the rest of the day along with warm temps. A front will bring showers and wind on Friday. Saturday will be dry during the day, but rain and snow is likely at night. The snow will end early Sunday, but it will be cold and windy. And more snow is possible early next week.

Rainy Thursday

A cold front will bring rain to the area Thursday into Thursday night. Behind the front skies will clear and temps will fall back closer to normal. The weekend looks warm and sunny as well.

This is my 2100th post since I started my blog. And I plan on writing as often as I can. As for the weather today will be sunny with a sea breeze. Then, temps on Wednesday will soar to near 70 before a cold front will bring rain  on Thursday.

Warming Up

Tuesday will feature more sun and a sea breeze. Then warmer air will finally come into the area on Wednesday as temps soar into the 70's. Then a backdoor cold front will come in on Thursday leading to rain and cooler conditions.

Some Snow

A major storm will pass well out to sea. However, some ocean effect snow is likely on Friday afternoon. Then the cold air will last into the weekend with another chance for snow on Sunday. And a warm spell is likely next week.

Friday: Scattered snow showers and flurries. High 34. NE wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH. Snow may coat the ground.

Storm Out To Sea

A storm on Friday will slide well SE of the area. However, it will still bring some snow to the area. Snow showers are likely Friday afternoon, but it won't amount to much. The cold will continue through the weekend.

Latest Storm Update

It now appears that the storm on Friday will stay mostly out at sea. However, some ocean effect snow is possible and that may lead to a minor accumulation. The cold weather will stick around for the rest of the weekend.

Rain Update

Another rainstorm is on the way as a storm tracks to our west. The rain will arrive tonight and last into the morning. The storm will also bring strong wind gusts to the area along with a small risk of a thunderstorm. Then temps will crash late day and another storm is possible by Friday.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect west of Boston for tonight.

A Wind Advisory is in effect for parts of the coast.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Rain with isolated thunderstorms. Temps near 37 this evening will rise to 48 by dawn. South wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH.

Wednesday: Rain in the morning, then becoming mostly sunny. Windy with temps near 55 early will crash to 38 by 5 PM. SE wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 45 MPH changing to west.

Wednesday night: Clearing and windy. Lows around 20. NW wind of 15-52 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH.

Thursday: Sunny and cold. Highs in the mid 30's.

Storm Forecast

A storm will pass to our west leading to another windswept rainstorm. It may briefly begin as some sleet or freezing rain, but will quickly change to rain. The height of the rain and wind will be overnight into Wednesday morning. And, we will need to watch another storm on Friday that could bring us some snow.
