Latest Storm Update

It now appears that the storm on Friday will stay mostly out at sea. However, some ocean effect snow is possible and that may lead to a minor accumulation. The cold weather will stick around for the rest of the weekend.

Alert:

A Winter Storm Watch is in effect for the Cape and Islands.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Clear and cold. Low 18. NW wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH.

Thursday: Mostly sunny and cold. High 34. NW wind of 15-25 MPH.

Thursday night: Increasing clouds with lows in the low 20's.

Friday: Some snow showers are possible. Highs in the low 30's. Stay tuned for updates on any changes in the storm track.

Saturday: Partly sunny with highs in the mid 30's.

Sunday: A few flurries possible. Highs in the mid 30's.
