The coldest day of the season so far will occur on Tuesday as arctic air comes into the area. However, by Wednesday temps will rise back into the 40's. And temps temps will remain there for the end of the week.

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for the Cape and Nantucket.
Boston forecast:
Tonight: Any snow showers fade, then clearing and frigid. Low 8 above. NW wind of 15-25 MPH.
Tuesday: Bright sunshine and becoming less windy. Very cold with a high of 23. NW wind of 10-20 MPH. Wind chill values as low as 5 BELOW before 9 AM.
Tuesday night: Clear with lows in the teens.
Wednesday: Sunny and warmer. with highs around 40.
Thursday: Sunny with highs in the mid 40's.
Friday: Sunny with highs in the 40's.
