Snow To Mix

Snow will likely change to sleet and possibility rain before ending overnight. On Wednesday it will be mostly cloudy with temps reaching 40. Then more snow is likely on Thursday, but it looks to be less of an impact. It will remain cold on Friday.

Alerts:

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for the Boston area until 10 AM Wednesday.

A Winter Storm Watch is in effect for the Cape and Islands for Thursday

Boston forecast:

Tonight: A mix of snow, sleet and rain. Temp rising to 32 by dawn. South wind of 15-25 MPH. Total snow amounts of 2-4 inches expected.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy with a passing rain shower. High 40. West wind of 10-20 MPH.

Wednesday night: Snow likely late. Lows around 20.

Thursday: Snow likely. Highs in the mid 20's. Some accumulation likely!

Friday: Sunny and cold. Highs in the mid 20's.

Saturday: Sunny with highs in the mid 30's. Set your clocks ahead one hour before bed.

Sunday: Sunny with highs in the 40's.
