Friday will be another chilly day with some sun and temps nearing 40. Then a storm will come into the Northeast for the weekend. It may start out as a brief period of freezing rain, but it will change to heavy rain on Saturday. Then some snow is likely on Sunday as colder air comes back into the area.

Tonight: Clear and cold. Low 17.
Friday: Mostly sunny in the morning, then increasing clouds in the afternoon. High 40. West wind of 10-15 MPH.
Friday night: Cloudy in the evening, then freezing rain likely late. Lows in the upper 20's.
Saturday: Areas of Freezing rain until 9 AM, then rain. Highs around 40. Some small ice accumulation possible.
Saturday night: Rain showers mix with snow late. Lows around freezing.
Sunday: Snow showers likely. Highs in the mid 30's. Stay tuned!
Monday; Partly sunny with highs in the low 40's.
St Patrick's Day: Some rain possible. Highs in the 40's.
Tropics: A Tropical Cyclone with winds of 160 MPH will make a close pass to remote Pacific Islands off the coast of Australia. And then threaten New Zealand in a few days.
