Soggy Saturday

Any wintry mix will change to rain and will continue off and on through the day on Saturday and into the night. It will clear out for Sunday but it will be cold and windy. Monday will also be dry before we watch a powerful storm by Tuesday.

Alert:

 A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect west of Route 128. A small accumulation of snow and ice is likely there.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Any sleet or freezing rain changes to rain.  Temps in the mid 30's will rise to 40 by dawn. East wind of 10-20 MPH.

Saturday: Periods of rain. High 47. East wind of 10-15 MPH.

Saturday night: More rain. Lows in the low 40's. NE wind of 10-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH.

Sunday: Sunny and windy. Highs around 40.

Monday: Increasing clouds with highs in the upper 30's .

Tuesday: Watching a powerful storm-at this point it looks like rain and wind. Highs in the 40's.

Wednesday: The storm may continue. Temps may fall into the 30's. Stay tuned!

  1. Does powerful storm mean it might be snow? Cancelled FPC volunteers this morning, very rainy, started last night.
