It now appears that most of the snow will stay south of the Boston area. As, the storm slides south of the area and only light snow will fall leading to very little accumulation. Early next week will be very cold again but it will be dry.
Boston forecast:
Tonight: Mostly cloudy with a low of 25.
Sunday: Cloudy with scattered snow showers. High 34. West wind of 10-20 MPH. Snow may coat the ground.
Sunday night: Periods of light snow. Lows
around 15. Total snow amounts of a coating-2 inches likely.
Monday: Any snow over by 8AM, then becoming partly sunny. Very cold with highs around 20.
Tuesday: Sunny and near record cold! Highs in the lows 20's.
Wednesday: Some sun with highs in the 20's.
US Weather: A major winter storm is likely in DC and Philly with over a foot of snow possible! Meanwhile, high temps in the northern plains today were as low as 15 BELOW 0!
