As the storm travels north of the area winds will switch to the NW bringing colder air into the area. As, temps will drop as much as 15 degrees in just a few hours. And rain will change to sleet and eventually snow. During the day on Thursday temps will hold in the 20's along with strong winds. Thursday night could feature record lows before a bit of a recovery on Friday.

Thru 5 AM: Rain changes to sleet and then snow. Temps crash to 23. NW winds of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH. Any standing water freezes solid.
5AM-8 AM: Steady snow and windy. Temps around 20. NW wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH.
8 AM-Noon: Snow tapers to snow showers. Temp 22. NW winds of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 45 MPH. Wind chill values as low as 0. Total snow amounts of a coating-2 inches likely.
Thursday afternoon: Mostly cloudy and windy. High 24. NW wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 50 MPH.
Thursday night: Clear with lows approaching the record of 12! NW winds of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH. Wind chill values as low as 5 BELOW late.
Friday: Mostly sunny and cold. Highs in the upper 30's. I come home for spring break!
Saturday: Partly sunny and warmer. Highs in the low 50's.
Sunday: Sunny with highs around 40.
