Peak Wind Gusts

After the storm brought strong winds to the Boston area today skies will clear tonight. However, it will stay windy and temps will fall into the teens. On Thursday it will be sunny with temps again below normal. As a front crosses the area on Friday scattered showers are possible late. Then another powerful storm is possible by the weekend.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Clearing and windy. Low 18. NW wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 45 MPH.

Thursday: Mostly sunny in the morning, then increasing clouds in the afternoon. High 42. West winds of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH.

Thursday night: Mostly cloudy with lows around 30. SW wind of 10-20 MPH.

Friday: Cloudy in the morning, then scattered rain showers in the afternoon. Highs in the mid 50's.

Saturday: Rain likely in the afternoon. Highs in the mid 40's.

Sunday: Watching a storm. Highs in the 30's. Stay tuned!

  1. The wind was so wild yesterday - and kept blowing into the evening. Haven't seen a lot of trees down, but tomorrow am in the park and can check it out more closely. Today felt positively warm here!
